Utau4life

I'm adding 3 more pitches to my current Utau soft power and a low set but when I record power vocals my mic doesn't seem to sound like I'm screaming into it what settings should my mic be on its an atr2500 from audio technica and how far away should my mouth be from the mic ? Anything will help thanks

The most important thing seems to actually be your singing technique, not your microphone settings. Look up youtube videos about singing powerfully. When setting up your mic, set the gain low, and then record a test with you singing with your powerful voice. Then bring it up slowly to as loud as you can get it without peaking/clipping.
