Trying to make an utau sing softer?

I'm trying to make Mawarine Shuu sing softer- I'm aware he his falsetto bank is supposed to do the job but I can't get it working on UTAU Synth but whatever that's fine.

Anyway, does this sound softer:



And if not, any advice on how to improve it would be helpful :uhuhu:
And yes, I know he has a whisper bank but given that it's literal whispering, it's not what I'm going for.
