so i was thinking of getting a nice microphone to record my utau with, and after some searching on amazon i found the yeti, which seems to be a very popular choice here.

one question though: what's the difference between the yeti and the yeti pro? they look exactly the same to me...

thanks!

I found an article here, which might be helpful.

Personally, I use a Snowball and it serves me well for my UTAU needs.

I have the Standard Yeti and the quality is amazing as it is
considering i would guess the pro to be more money so i would stick with the regular yeti for now (btw i got my Yeti off of Amazon when it was $50.00 off)

The Yeti and the Yeti pro basically sound the same if you are using USB.
In Yeti pro, the difference is in sound quality, it only happens if you are using phantom power/preamp.
The sound quality will go way up if you are using that. But you must invest in a decent phantom power/preamp to make sure that it will sound good.

If you're only going to use USB I advise to go with the Yeti.
I also have a Yeti myself and it's good. Great sound quality comes from it
.

I hoped this helps:smile:
