"My UTAU Voicebank causes a crash in OpenUTAU"

Keith.mp3

I'm creating a UTAU voicebank with a streamer's voice using AI, and I've already collected all the audio files and set everything up. However, when I try to use the UTAU, OpenUTAU crashes. I've tried everything, and I initially thought it was due to the audio files but it's not.

That's kind of an invasive thing to do. Did you get permission?
It's probably due to a file issue or messed up oto. You can do a singer error check in the Singer Window

Yes, I do have the streamer's permission. I'm a VIP in his channel, so it was easy for me to ask them. However, when I try to test it in the original UTAU program, I get an error message that says "????"

Awesome! Then yes, open the VB in OpenUtau and try the Singer Error Check to see if it can diagnose any issues

The ErrorLog indicates the following errors:

- Sample rate of the sound file is not 44100Hz
- Cutoff must be to the right of consonant
- Sound File is not mono channel

What is the solution to these errors?

Start with batch re-exporting all of your sound files. UTAU has strict requirements for samples: they must be WAV, 16 bit, mono channel and 44100Hz sample rate. I use REAPER to do this, but supposedly audacity also has batch conversion (I couldnt tell you how there though). There are also several UTAU focused tools I think.

Hello again, now I'm getting the following errors:
Invalid oto Format
Cutoff must be to the right of a consonant
There are duplicate aliases

How can I fix this?

First the first, your cutoff must be to the right of your consonant or fixed region in your oto, otherwise theres no sample to loop/stretch. Find the sample and look at the oto and it should be fairly obvious, if it isn't to you please screenshot your oto in whatever editor you use and i can correct it visually.

For two, duplicate aliases are only a problem if they're unintentional. If they seem fine to you, don't worry about it.

Sorry but I'm too dumb for this kind of thing :c
What should I take a screenshot to show you?

You're not dumb, we're all always learning new things and working on our communication skills. Have you edited the oto.ini for the voicebank? In the error report it should mention the sample name, what I need is a screenshot of the sample it says has the "cutoff to the left of the consonant".
I would need something like this (first screenshot is vlabeler, second is the openutau singers menu, anything that has a visual representation of your oto.ini is okay. ideally whatever you configure in personally):

I'll send you the screenshots in a few minutes. But I just realized there are more errors, which are:

Overlap out of sound file duration 5920

Cutoff must be to the right of preutter

Cutoff must be to the right of overlap.

These errors, along with the previous ones, are repeated throughout the F4 and F3 folders. And if you want, I can upload the utau to Drive and send you the link. It might make it easier for you to analyze the problem.

Yes that kind of screenshot, but not of that entry, Gotta be of some of the entries giving the error, the name should be included with the error report.
