I absolutely love your Efficency VCV reclist! I tried to use 3 other VCV reclists, which all took a while to record, however this reclist took recording from taking days to only around 20 minutes! I'd highly recommend your VCV Efficency reclist and your rentan CV reclist for any UTAU voicebank creator!
CV English is a concept that’s interesting but probably needs some tweaking. First of all, there’s no ending consonants, which is a pretty major error since English is, you know, not Japanese.
Second, there’s the issue of dipthongs and consonant glides. Unless you want choppiness then you should definitely find a way to include at least two-consonant glides.
Lastly, the format being CV doesn’t make too much sense. CV English reclists are essentially just Japanese with extra English phonemes, so if you want an ‘authentic’ English reclist it would have to be CVC at least.
Just pointing some things out! Have a great day :)
I think this reclist has great potential, but needs some work.
I like the amount of phonemes in this reclist and the format of the reclist itself, which makes it easy to record, however I feel like singular consonants could be added for words with endings such as the 'd' in 'red', and the notation may be easier to understand with a format such as Arpabet or X-Sampa. Some consonants are difficult to understand, such as 'q' which I don't understand what sound it makes, and 'th', which I don't know is the 'th' in 'think' or the 'th' in 'this'.
