The vowels are just short of being complete, but the consonants look good. I'd add VC blocks to this for ending consonants, as with this ending consonants would sound weird. The word hat for example with this is synthesized as ha-t, when it could sound better if it could be made with ha-at (more realistic transition between vowel and consonant)

thank you for reviewing! i did think about adding that but i scrapped it for some reason...but i might make an expanded, more smooth version of calcium english where it does add those, (maybe) along with some other extra things! :D
A really interesting concept for a reclist- I just have two suggestions. One, it would be a very short reclist if you made it recordable as a rentan CV or CVVC and put the consonants at the end of the string, like ‘bah-boo-bee-b’ instead of having them all be recorded as CV.
Second, a few of the phonemes here are somewhat confusing and aren’t too friendly to people with different accents. This is just a personal gripe since I dislike Arpabet, but it would be nice if you could release versions encoded in other formats like X-SAMPA (I can help with that).
I’m interested in seeing where this reclist goes! This might be the next step in easy English methods :)

tysm!! :D i agree, that recording style would be quite nice, but i think it'd be slightly easier to mess up how to say the vowels (or maybe that's just me ;-;). also, the phonemes (mostly the vowel ones) i find some of them a little confusing as well but i find other ways to write them even more confusing...

i can always make other versions of calcium english where it's encoded in X-SAMPA or where the reclist is like a rentan CV or CVVC if people find that easier! :)
I love how this reclist is phonetically complete, has diphthongs in the vowels, and has various consonants in English. However, I'd recommend possibly changing the aliases of vowels, such as making 'euh' 'oo', and 'oo' 'uw' for example, to make it easier to understand. Otherwise, its a nice reclist.

thanks for leaving a review!!! :) also, the aliases were mostly for me in the first place, but i can make a version of calcium english with those aliases if that's easier to understand!
