I tried to use a SynthV auto-pitch tuning to UTAU workflow this time, which still needs a bit of manual tuning clean up in UTAU, but it gives a result a bit better than I would do on my own. I find it easier to edit the lyrics in in SynthV too, then pop it over to UTAU and run lyric parser on it. (synthV is also easier to make harmonies in IMO, but this UST already had a good harmony track, so that doesn't technically apply to this cover)
I think I sped run making this video. I have a few more covers I'll upload over the next few weeks that are a bit less involved video-wise, but for this, I wanted to play with typography a little since I have no experience with it. Still, it was a one-day project meant just as practice, and I tend to be the quantity over quality type when it comes to personal projects, so please excuse it if it's a little rough still.
As far as lyric decisions go, all my notes are on the link above. This song has a couple places where the lyrics are written one way but sung another - "live stage" is sung, but "fantasy world" is written.
Anyhow, this time of year this year seems to be pretty productive for me UTAU wise, moreso than like the last 5 years combined, so if you're one of the few people who still watches what I upload, thanks!
