    【AICA】Cursed Blood【Open Utau Original】

Hello, it's been a while but I finally finished my first Utau song! ...well, I actually finished it a while ago, but it took me a while to get the art for the video done, so long in fact that I started working on a new project, I hope you guys enjoy it and feel free to share any criticism, I'm...

Does anyone know any good books/ resources on the composition of Rock music

Alright, I'll make sure to do that. I already studied a few midis that other people made of songs I like but I haven't considered trying to recreate a song myself. I never heard of tabs before tho, I'll be looking into it. Thank you for the recommendation.

Does anyone know any good books/ resources on the composition of Rock music

Nothing urgent, I just realised that in all of my time learning the basics of music composition I only know how to compose the basic piano + violin combo, and I would like to branch out a bit more.

I don't think so? Then again this is the first forum I ever got on so I don't know what to expect. I personally like the smaller community feel.

Everyone should go read umineko so there is more than 5 people at a time talking about it on tumblr. If not, I'll start liveblogging it in this thread, which means this thread wont end for the next 5 years (yes umineko is that long)

Any advice for someone who is new to mastering?

I have been trying to finish the track above so I can finally move on to other projects and I'm looking for advice on mastering. So far I have been following a couple of YouTube tutorials and I don't understand what I'm doing, and I feel like my lack of understanding is affecting the quality of...

I'm at the mastering stage and Reaper is acting weird [SOLVED]

Okay I found the solution, it just took a bit of digging, you gotta go to options>preferences>project>track/send defaults>record config and deselect monitor input. If that doesn't work check each track you got via clicking the red button next to each track's name and check if any got monitor...

I'm at the mastering stage and Reaper is acting weird [SOLVED]

I finally reached the mastering stage and Reaper (a program I got recommended in a music workshop since it's technically free) is acting weird. I brought the different files into the program last night and it was acting fine, but today it's echoing horrifically, I can't even watch a youtube...

I still don't know what flags are (OpenUtau)

Ah I probably should have specified I'm using AICAs' english vccv which is monopitch according to the readme, sorry for not stating that earlier. I'm going to assume that it doesn't have any colours either considering that it doesn't mention it in the readme. Also thanks for telling me about the...

I still don't know what flags are (OpenUtau)

Thanks so much for your answer, but can you elaborate? I'm still very new to this How do I know if I have voice colours? What is the F flag and what does it do? Is it the " g-4 (sweeter tone)" the AICA readme mentioned? Will setting the default value of gender to -4 soften the voice? What does...

I still don't know what flags are (OpenUtau)

I feel like I should know what flags are at this point but I am still very confused about where I can even find them. The flags listed in the AICA readme are "BOF1 (fresamp) ; g-4 (sweeter tone)" but I don't know where to find these flags? I initially guessed that I'd find them in the CLR tab...
