I have two final suggestions:
1. Did your antivirus accidentally disable/delete the files, and did you try redownloading them? Are you unable to correctly run the .bat files?
2. What are your computer specs?

I've had the same issue as users above and got the yaml error.
I re-did the tutorial step by step and tried a fresh python reinstall (3.1.0), ran both files (made sure they're in the proper folder), and tried to run the line suggested, above
Instead, I get this error:
Any help is appreciated ;A;
Hey I've been trying to follow your tut, I got to pressing the install.bat file and let it download a few things up until it told me to update pip. Because of that I downloaded the latest pip and ran the install again but as i read the console it said it deleted it but then right after asked me to update it again?? I'm not quite sure what to do, if you have any clue on what to do let me know ^^

I'm having the same issue and I think this might just be happening because theres a new hifisampler release, the one in this tut is 0.0.5 and the newest is 0.0.6 </3
Their github has a guide on how to install it but it makes no sense to me, hopefully we both can figure it out T-T

1. Uninstall Hifisampler (just delete the folder)
2. Go to Github and install the latest release, 0.0.6
3. That one's preinstalled
4. Run the start.bat file once. Now, every time you select Hifisampler as the resampler it will auto-run that file.

Replying to this old tutorial to state that the new ver of hifisampler is much easier to install so this tutorial is mainly for older vers
I never fixed my issue but I figured I would let people know to check out the GitHub: https://github.com/openhachimi/hifisampler
