I have Kasane Teto's voice box and I'm very confused on how to use it. It seems as if I can only use it if the songs are .ust form and designed for her. I have no idea whatsoever how to use VSQ's or .rar's. I'm very new to this and extremely confused. Could I have some help? THank you!

.VSQ is a Vocaloid file, so you have to click "import" instead of "open" :9
A .rar is an archive file. First, get a program like 7zip o WinRAR and then unpack it (right click on the .rar file & find something like "unpack", "7zip > unpack", I don't really remember the names of these options, but you get the idea :D). There should be a .ust or a .vsq inside ^_^

Thank you so much! That makes more sense now. How do I export though? And why can I only use files designed for Teto Kasane?

Are the files that aren't working in Romaji? Teto's bank only supports Hiragana (Japanese characters).
As for exporting, if you're talking about the vocals, after it's all played you can got to Play>Save Last Play. there's another way to do it too, but I can't think of it right now.

To be sure that you understand, usts can be 'made' for a certain voicebank but it doesn't mean others can't play it, although, since you downloaded Teto's triphone bank, you'll probably need to convert the notes inside to triphones; especially if it was a vsq in the first place as those do not convert into VCV (triphone) notes. That's probably why you found you could only play files 'made for Teto'.
After Importing the vsq into UTAU, to save it as a ust just click save or save as, if that was your question. If it was to actually export the vocals, do what Jpegurl described or go to Project>Render Wav File.

I'm still extremely confused. When I try to access the VSQ's while utau is open, (open, export, etc.) VSQ's do not show up.
