How do you feel about the first voicebank you made?

This was my very first bank, without the oto fix; The weirdness is more apparent on a Rollnig Girl cover I made. Kinda...awkward, though I feel nostalgic when I listen to it. My next Japanese bank that I recorded, I don't like the tone as much on it, so I kinda miss it. I think my VCCV is a semi-return to the tone of my old bank.

Burn it... burn it with acid. When it comes to my old banks, I bury them in private with youtube and designate them to a discontinued folder on box. I don't see the use in keeping them on my HDD.

Honestly, it was nice looking way way back and seeing how much I've grown and gotten better at it. The VB itself was a mess but you gotta start somewhere.

My first voicebank sounds like someone put her in a blender. She was insanely choppy. My friend let me use her oto, I just put it in the folder with my recordings. Let's just say it didn't turn out too well >.> Although, I quite liked her design and art.

Well, I actually still kind of like my first voicebank's tone, but my pronunciation was pretty terrible (Japanese "r"s? Eh, I'm sure they basically sound the same as English "r"s!) and my vowels weren't consistent at all. And I misspelled her name because I didn't understand the difference between "su" and "tsu". So... Kind of a mixed bag. Lol. I've been trying to make a new version of that voicebank for a couple of years now, but I can never get the same tone I had then. So she might just be dead forever.

My first voicebank I made was a CV. This was when I was a total noob, and I had no idea what oto-ing was. It sounded very messy. Then I made a VCV one about a month later after I learned about proper otos and it sounded good. Now I am making appends for my VCV (I so far have low pitched (which I call "Dark") and a "whisper" append) then possibly show her to the world at the end of the month

My first bank was of course, CV. I still have the covers I made from it, and ohhhh boi. Even alone at home, I was not confident in doing the recordings so they sound weak as all golly. It was also done on a built in monitor mic, so that was gr8. I still love it though, even if its not used as much.

I made her without a reclist ( I opened a ust and recorded the sounds as I went along) so she has a lot of missing phonemes (even important ones like 'pa'). That aside I still love how she sounds even though I don't use her anymore. When I get my mic I'm aiming to try and recreate that sound.

Ahahaha;;; My first voicebank was not pronounced correctly. It had english R's and I pronounced "wo" like you would in Chinese (somewhat closer to "uoa" than just "o") instead of Japanese.
I also didn't know how to oto, and didn't know that the blue part you drag out at the beginning of the sample existed. There was only one tutorial at the time, and it wasn't really very clear. Didn't know you could regenerate frqs either, so I had like three different samples of the same syllable because I thought I had to completely replace it each time.
I released this voicebank anyway because I wanted my UTAU's anniversary to be on the cool date of Jan 1st. I'm pretty sure I took down the first really bad covers early on.

I actually like my first utau other than the fact it was recorded on a very cheap mic that made everything sound raspy, my T's were very aspirated, my K's where somehow too short (I still don't know how that happened lol), a very very very cliche name (I liked it though) and of course, the mispronunciation of the Japanese R (still have a bit of an issue with it).

At least I knew how to oto so he was at least decent for a complete noob at the time and flags helped with the raspiness and such. I felt more accomplished for actually finishing the bank more than anything else lol.

Disappointment. I was trying to make a Turkish UTAU, I was so sure I was the first for attempting such a thing. Laptop's built-in microphone, Audacity, and everything nice *cough*. In Turkish,we have this letter "Ç", pronounced "che" when It's written alone. Everything was going according to the plan until "Ç", which UTAU either didn't recognize or distorted. For a 12-year old, I can say I had a lot of determination but I couldn't do anything about it, dropped it with a disappointment. I had a demonstration video that demonstrated her in a Solfège-esque style, but a friend at time didn'y even believe it was an UTAU.
