If they appear in the plugin manager but not anywhere else, you have to add the plugin to a project form the manager, then use the Add to Plugin Database option in the menu.

It started screwing up when I updated from 12.4 to 12.41 I uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times with the previous version and the current version. I keep getting this message http://imgur.com/a/fZG5X. For some reason, it only affects all the plugins in the Fruity folder. I still get the error message when adding plugins from the Plugin Database ;-;
