The issue with this is these are beginners- people with NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE in the fandom, and, seeing that you're older and more experienced, they'll believe anything you say! So now there's a bunch of people echoing opinions that they aren't fully educated about.

PEOPLE CAN RECORD WHAT THEY WANT. IF IT IS EASIER FOR THEM, LET THEM DO IT.

Wait, one more thing- the person who moderates this post genuinely creates high-quality UTAU and is willing to critique them, which I admire.

But she's also actively giving herself a bad name by spreading borderline misinformation and acting incredibly mature. She's an adult woman- there's no excuse for her behavior toward others in the fandom.

And ARPASing, especially the reclists by people such as Cadlaxa, are much less problematic than other English formats, because it contains non-essential CCs, VVs, consonant-diphthong sounds, and the 'dx' sound.
