    Ooh on consistent recording! When I record a blank I ALWAYS rerecord the first few samples, since it takes about 5 or 6 to really get a feel for it and those first ones end up being awkward or not matching the rest. (CV samples, maybe VCV is different.)

    I always had a hard time following tutorials on how to oto, so I think it really helps to open a vb of the same type in one instance of setparam and the vb youre working on in another instance and not COPY but study how the oto is done. Eventually you won't have to study the other one anymore and can just go on autopilot until something confuses you.

    I would say CV is my fav for Japanese UTAU's. It's the most balanced in terms of size (besides rentan) and quality, and some of the most popular UTAU's are CV (Macne family, Kasane Teto, etc.)
    If it's good enough for George Nakata, it's good enough for me!
