    It does. My mic was too quiet, so it's kinda hard to oto, and the samples have shouty, badly voiced (no acting) pronunciation

    I'm interested to hear it, however it's fine if you don't want to share it with me. I'm extremely curious of knowing what act 1 voicebanks of UTAUs sound like. My first CV voicebank from August also has a shouty tone because I recorded under a table and tryharded Japanese pronunciation.

    My oldest bank's name was kenji and oh boy was it a train wreck. I fixed some samples, though. I'm also working on a newer (but still old) "Tsunami CVVC" bank

    I could barely understand it either. The best advice I found was just to voice act the character and not a female imitation in general, however I can't find good advice that doesn't boil down to, "just practice".

    The voicebank will be called KARI VCV+. I hope you enjoy using it when it comes out! I can give you a beta version with three pitches that's encoded in Romaji (not hiragana yet) that you can use when I'm ready!

    I saw them! I think they're kind of interesting and funny. On the English reclist, there are strings with only consonants! And barely any lines with vowels!

    The arpasing one was made to be cv
    the japanese vcv one, when i tried making a base oto, chatgpt wrote it as rentan cv
    on the 12 mora cvc, nothing interesting

    be wary of the cvvc otos. They oto b-sounds like ヴぁ,ヴぃ,ヴ,ヴぇ,ヴぉ and they also do ふ for hu sounds,じぃ for ji, ふぅ for fu, and other errors, like using "b" for a v sound vc. it's frustrating to edit, and even more frustrating once you realize that it messes up the oto stuff too. Like i tried using Moresampler to oto Suzuki Hoshi KIRE but i had to edit it quite a lot. It did this with Suzuki Hoshi V1 Rerec as well. smh

    I don't know for sure because I don't have a Mac that supports Hifisampler.

    However, I think it does, because Sunnywolves tested it with the wavtool Utagrowl, which worked with Hifisampler.

    edit: i changed b4 to d4. Now the scale is between b3 and f4, for now. I couldn't handle B4
