    I can't believe it's almost August. Soon enough most of my online friends will be back at school and I'll have barely anyone to talk to during the day ;-;
    and when August comes around, I have to start thinking about school..buying new school equipment...and uh... yeah.
    For some reason in late August my school is making me go there to get my yearbook / student photo taken and to get my timetable.

    and uh… yeah it sucks… I’m trynna see if I can find a doctor that can clean my ears but… idk… Canada’s healthcare system sucks so I might be a long time before it happens.
    Hopefully my ears are fully recovered by the time I go back to school.

    Ok so, I went to the doctor. He told me the reason why my ears were clogged was because of too much earwax. I have to clean them out completely now and it’s gonna take a pretty long time. Also, I have a sore throat now because I accidentally swallowed shampoo and my ankle is twisted. My summer break is pretty terrible so far ;-;

    Yeah. My whole body hurts, and yet my parents are forcing me to go on 1+ hour walks everyday because they think it’s good for exercise or something. I literally struggle to walk because of my ankle but my parents and sister don’t believe me when I say it hurts… heck I hate it here…. I hate life….

    I made an updated version of Iris C + V ENGLISH. It's probably better than V1, idk, but this version supports the entire C + V Arpabet phonemizer, not just 75% of it when I put random vowel aliases like oh, ee, air, or ei that didn't even exist in arpabet.

    Feeling a little better but just wanted to come onto here to announce something. This month marks the 40th anniversary of Live Aid. Crazy how time flies. This is my favourite performance from Live Aid (As I am a big U2 Fan):

    I saw a video of Queen’s performance aswell, they did really good. I mean, everybody did well, all the concerts were pretty good. Apparently Live Aid raised over $100 million for aid in Ethiopia, which back then it was an extremely lot of money when money was worth a lot more than now.

    The most viewed Radiohead live performance is Paranoid Android at the BBC Studios and it still only has 15 or so million views.
    I’ve never heard of Live Aid, was it a festival?

    Live Aid was a ton of concerts by popular musical artists that happened after a BBC report of a concern in Ethiopia about the rising famine and deaths because they couldn’t afford proper medication and food supply. The concerts were held to raise money for that cause.

    Yeah. I dealt with too much harsh and extremely negative feedback about things in my life that even one little thing of constructive criticism can put me off very bad. I get that it's just suggestions and things as such, like, "Hey you accidentally forgot this vowel." or whatever, and I accidentally take it the wrong way because my brain thinks its a lot more negative than it really is.

    I hope this doesn’t sound harsh but you shouldn’t take criticism as a personal attack unless it’s clearly meant that way. Critique is how you improve and you shouldn’t shut it out, else you’ll get nowhere.

    I didnt realize this but I remember something now. I remember when I got my first ever computer back in 2019, I recorded my voice and tried to make a soundfont with it. I don’t know where it is anymore because most of my storage went missing once I converted to Mac and had to download everything manually again..
