Overall most people wanted a contest for it, so I guess I'll do it!
I need some art for my album soon, and I decided since I've pretty much got the songs picked out.
There'll be 4 brand new songs on the album, and the following:
Prizes*
1st Place:
The winner of the contest will receive a percentage of the album's profits (TBA) up to $50 (I'm not expecting many sales). If the album sells well, it will raise.
You will receive a FREE copy of the album.
You will also be able to request one original song in a range of 2-5 minutes long, depending on your usage for it.
Finally, you will receive a sketch of any character you wish.
2nd Place:
You will be able to request one original song in a range of 2-5 minutes long, depending on your usage for it.

3rd Place:
You will receive a sketch of any character you wish.
*If not as many people as I planned enter, there will only be the first place winner, with only the original and money prize.

The contest will end Friday, April 11th. It will give me spring break to arrange the original/art prizes and complete the album.
FAQ:
Q: What's the theme?
A: Generally, since I write mostly folk music and the majority of the tracks are folk, I'd prefer something that fits the genre, but there is no one specific theme. Whatever you get out of the songs already posted, you can use, as long as it doesn't break one of the rules.
Q: Well, if only a few entered the contest and you considered only one winner; does the winner get to draw the back cover of the album as well? -veuko
A: I haven't thought about that, but assuming few enter the contest, then few will buy the album, in which case there probably won't even be a back cover.
Q: May I use a Vocaloid character like Miku for the art? haruhi116
A: I forgot to mention the characters that will be featured. Whoops. AVANNA dominates the VOCALOID tracks and appears in 5 tracks. YOHIO is probably going to be on one of the tracks, but no other VOCALOID character appears on the album, so do not draw any others. My UTAUs LIV and LAYLA appear, Delta Atto is on one or two of the tracks (depending on if I use him for a chorus track), and Kiei appears twice. There are three live singers (including myself). There's more characters that appear on the album, but they don't have a song to themself. You may draw any of these characters or a new, original character, but none that do not appear off the album (like Miku). TL;DR: AVANNA dominates the album, but UTAUs like LIV, LAYLA, Delta Atto, and Kiei also appear, so you may use any of those or an original character.

- Full version of morameu
- Alternate versions of swajovan, Loqima, and Disappearing in the Garden
- Switched vocals of ehwi and grace (possibly)
- Returning songs like Miniya and Uhtceare
- Special versions of songs like a piano arrangement of Efflorescence and Rush Remake II
- A remix of Mary by Paper and a rearrangement of timeline by Aoi Rikyri!
- The album does not necessarily have to have the VOCALOID, UTAU, or person from one of the songs. You may simply have a character you created, but do not use UTAUs, VOCALOIDs, or characters separate from the album.
- The cover doesn't even have to have a character on the cover. You may do a landscape, abstract art, whatever you feel fits the songs listed above.
- No tracing or coloring over others' art. I shouldn't have to say that.
- You may not post the art until the day after the deadline. Please contact me directly through notes, tumblr (avalia-8bit), YouTube (AvaliaKasa), Twitter (AvaliaKasa), etc. If you want my email, please ask for it.
- The proportions of the art must be 1200 x 1200 or larger (about 4 x 4 inches with 300 dpi). If I decide to make physical copies, the second place winner will have their art on the back.
- Edit: There is no limit to the amount of submissions you may send! Send as many as you like!
