DAW Help Imported Midi file from UTAU makes no sound

I decided to make a cover and I wanted to see how the cover would possibly sound so I downloaded Reaper. At first the midi file I imported from UTAU to Reaper didn't make sound but upon further digging it's actually supposed to be like that. I got it to make some sounds after adding the Synth plugin but the problem is it's a synth and not the actual voice of the UTAU what plugins do I have to use?

I've been trying to solve this for like 3 ish hours already and it's eating away at my free trial T wT

Also if anybody has recommended tutorials for UTAU and Reaper or just anything related to UTAU it'd be greatly appreciated.

To create utau singing vocal tracks you will need to import the MIDI file into UTAU itself (whether you're using Classic UTAU, OpenUtau, or another similar editor).

This will allow you to select the voicebank, enter lyrics, and make other adjustments to the vocals. Once you're done, you can export the results as a WAV file, and bring that audio file into Reaper to mix the final cover.

So what I'm getting from this is, if I'm already done with the ust on UTAU itself I have to save it as a .wav file (not as a .midi file which is what I did) and import it to reaper?

edit: out of excitement I immediately tried both save as and export, but I only got .ust , .mid and .vsq as options.

In OpenUtau, use File > Export Audio > Export Wav Files.
In Classic UTAU, use Project > Render WAV File
