Design / Color Advice?

So here's my lovely UTAU in the making.

But I'm a little stuck on clothes, and even if I like the clothes she's wearing.
So I'd like some input on what colors I should use and what I should change about her.

Things I'd like to keep in the design:

- Tiara
- Skin Color
- Hair Color
- Huge Gloves

Things I'm anticipating criticism-wise:

- OMG too many ribbons!!!1

The lowdown on her design so that you have a better idea of what my vision is here:

She's an imaginary friend created by a six-year-old girl, which means she'll be themed around stereotypical little girl things. Right now, I've stuck to a Princess-y theme.

I hope that if you're gonna give me advice in colors, please keep in mind I've tried a lot of different colors, so saying general things like: "try blue" isn't going to be too helpful for me. [sub]Though maybe a blue palette might be helpful, since she's loosely inspired from Disney's Sleeping Beauty...[/sub]

Anyways, any help would be appreciated! <3

You're going for RV/BV/Y right? I think if you nudge the pink a little away from pure red then you should be good. You could try her clothes in a deeper version of the pink, maybe? with yellow accents....I think. I have no idea what will look best, but you should be fine if you limit yourself to  tints of the hues you have already.

As for the outfit, maybe you could find some way to add gold bits to the outfit? maybe buttons, a necklace, a brooch, a belt...something like that. Just to add some interest, since the texture of the clothing is all pretty similar-looking.

I never thought of adding small details, but that's really great advice! Thanks! I'll play with the colors and try to avoid the red. <3

very cute! I'd say...
1.) I love that light pink c: maybe use some light accents of sky blue and yellow green to make it pop? Just use small details for that, such as Kit said c:
Here's a pallet you might like:

2.) Use that metal texture throughout the outfit so it's not all alone of the head :D Add things like bracelets, clips, gold accents on the clothing~
