Exclamation points in UTAU program?

Heyooo

A common error I come across when I'm making covers of songs is that those little yellow and red exclamation point boxes appear over some sounds. I do the whole shinding with using crossfade and clicking on them, but sometimes they don't go away, and end up making the sound distorted.

Would anyone mind telling me how to get rid of these, and also what they mean/why they happen?

little exclamation point above the note means the envelope on that note is messed upp. Since you've tried the p buttons, it looks like you have to edit the one note manually. Just right click on the note and move on one of the points, this should fix the crossing issue.

As for why they happen: In some usts the notes are not verry big, and if there is a note after the short one theres less space for the vovel on the short note. Wich will make the envelope cross, causing the exclamation point to pop up.
