Gibberish VSQ?

I loaded up a VSQ in UTAU, and it's all gibberish.
Is there any way to fix this, without trying to input the lyrics myself?

As far as I know, whenever you try to import a VSQ into UTAU, and vice-versa, if your system environment is not Japanese, it will turn into gibberish (except if it is in romaji). There is a way, though I never tried, and a bit time consuming that is using the VSQ lyrics extractor: http://utaforum.net/index.php?topic=406.0
OR you could use the program Cadencii as a bridge to export a UST from an imported VSQ, succesfully: http://pt.sourceforge.jp/projects/cadencii/releases/?package_id=9119
