Hi guys!

new here on the forums, was amazed to find out that there is a free alternative to vocaloids, hoping to make some new friends and check out some more music and artwork that is related to UTAU, cant stop listening to them.

Look forward to meeting the rest of you and maybe collaborate together on something  I am a music producer with a focus on trance music, been using ableton for a couple years, and I converted my room into a mini studio lol

Have an awesome day

:D Hello newbie. I must say, even if utau may not sound as realistic as vocaloid, It's pretty awesome since you can use this program with your own voice (FINALLY). How new are you exactly to using UTAU?

hey fish god

yeah I just learned today that you can use your own voice, pretty sweet. I just downloaded UTAU yesterday, and since then been fiddling around with it, plan on using sekka yufu.

What got you into Utau?

Hmmm. I heard of utau recently, but I forgot already how I got into the whole thing. Lemme start from the begining...

-I heard about Hatsune Miku from Kids react...
-I looked up a few songs and fell in love with trick or treat and alice human sacrifice
-then I looked up even more and found triple baka, which featured kasane teto
-I looked up kasane, and that led me to fukkireta
- Somehow (maybe it was a youtube comment?) I found out about UTAU and that you can record your voice and it was free
-either that, or I discovered that there were so many covers of vocaloid songs by other synth-voices (utaus) and found out from there...
