I already replied to you inside tumblr, but I will leave this also here for people who may find it helpful! :D

Recomendations when using/creating breaths INSIDE UTAU:

A) When you record a breath sample, try to add a vowel sample at the end; [_breath___aaaaa] this is to make the breath more stable.

:shades: OTO your breaths. Yeah, sounds odd but the fact most people leave breaths in the vowel zone (white part of the oto). This makes the breaths stretch and that works horrible in the UTAU engines. Cover the whole breath with the consonant (pink) and set your preutterance (red line) at the start of your breath.

C) Check always in which key are your breath sounds recorded! Go to the oto.ini window, and under the list there is a button named “Edit freq. map”; click it. You will find a piano roll on your right side of the window; move it down until you find a red line. This red line shows the recorded key for your breath. Once you locate the key of your breathing sounds; move your breath note to that place so it will sound natural.

D) Edit envelopes if needed. Pyramid-shape envelopes are helpful!

E) Also reduce the volume of your breaths! 20 is an acceptable number.

F) Use TIPS-Engine for breaths. This tool created by masao-san may be helpful for this purpose: http://youtu.be/J5dwAdPdy04

G) In case you can’t use TIPS, set the BRE (right click on the note) to 100.

And those are the recomendations I can give you towards breaths inside UTAU. I hope you find them helpful! :D
