How do chords work in OpenUtau?

This may be a silly question, but I recently finished the rough draft of my first song and have brought the midi file into open utau to start the tuning process. I just got to a section where I wrote in chords in the OG violin midi for a fuller louder sound only to see that only one note in the chord is prioritised (if I am understanding this right) while the rest of the notes within the chord are pale and don't seem to be playing, which makes the track sound very different to the OG violin midi.

How should I fix this?

Much like human singers, a singing synth can only sing one note at a time. You will need to arrange the notes on separate tracks. If you like, all three could be the same voicebank, or you could use different singers for each track.
