It's really as easy as recording the appropriate sounds, putting them in a folder, putting that folder into the UTAU "voice" folder and it should show up.

Then you'll have to either learn to oto yourself or get someone else to help you.

That's an extremely simple explanation. I suggest you visit the tutorial part of the forum or search youtube for more well explained tutorials. This guide has some useful information you could probably use.

OREMO is a nice program to use for recording since it's easy to save the files in one folder and the sounds you're recording are all right there in a simple reclist.

I suggest looking at other banks to get an idea on what to record, how it's supposed to sound and whatnot.

Honestly if you can download and use other UTAUs, creating one of your own shouldn't be too hard in theory.

A starting point would be to create a folder to hold all your sound files and start recording the appropriate sounds for the bank you want to create.

That's...basically what I meant. You can look at the Vippas or well done overseas UTAU to make your own reclist and see what sounds are needed OR if you download OREMO like I suggested it comes with it's own hiragana reclist.

You can also find reclists on this thread.

English is difficult. Since you don't even know how to make a bank you should stick with Japanese CV to start and try English later on when you have a much better understanding on how UTAU works. English is still by technical standards a new thing for us and a lot of veterans have difficulty getting it to work just right, so you should probably just work with Japanese CV for now.

And as a final note, please try to use the forum search function from now on. Or Google. A lot of the things you are asking can be easily found on other threads or websites that deal with UTAU if you just look. Especially when it comes to making a simple voicebank.

When you have trouble with the program or can't find an answer using the search function or looking in other places, that is the time to make a new thread asking for help and you should make it here: http://utaforum.net/board-help-and-advice

The UTAU Discussion area is more for talking about new program updates, new UTAUs, hypothetical questions about characterization, user preferences, etc.

Take time to explore the forums a bit and I bet you could learn a whole lot about UTAU and what to do(or not to do)~

Iris, I think they meant romaji.

In which case you should probably record in romaji for CV Japanese banks, just because then everyone can use them. I think my translation of OREMO's default reclist is still alright. I recommend deleting "tou" and "dou" as they are mistranslations, and adding "dzu" if it's not already there.

Good luck, and I've moved this to the correct forum.
