For me personally, I'd love to start off with an Absol.

I would definitely choose Growlithe. I practically replaced my starter with it in White 2!

I would probably start with a Marill, since it's my favorite pokémon and half of my favorite type now.
I'm more a water-fire trainer for some reason, I would probably choose Torchic too, even thought already is a starter

Out of all the Pokemon, then a Ghastly that I could raise to a Gengar.
