Hey everyone! I thought I'd make a thread to introduce my UTAU OC, Eleeza Awaz.
For some reason images show up quite big, so I'll put them at the end.
Usually referred to as Awaz to avoid confusion with me (because I named her after myself lol).
"Awaz" is the Urdu word for "voice" or "sound", and because my last name already starts with an A, and I'm Pakistani, I thought it would be a fitting name for her.
She is myself in a parallel universe where I, for lack of better words, computer science'd a little too hard.
Her baseline age is 19 years old, as I was that age when I recorded her voicebank. I tend to think of her as just being "the same age as me".
She is a computer science student at a university in the UK. Her backstory is that she got bored one day and decided to install a synthesiser into her throat as an experiment. She has no surgery experience, just borrowed a textbook from the library to figure it out herself. A lot of her inventions and experiments are just hacks held together by sellotape and blu-tack. She's the kind of person to jump into a project with no idea of what she's doing, mainly because she finds it to be humorous, somehow. Basically she's a bit of a mad scientist at times, and while her endeavours usually work out for her, when stuff goes wrong, it really goes Wrong.
She also built a clone machine which makes a clone of herself with a different outfit and personality to go with each song she sings. These clones can range from a sentient ball-jointed doll to a sleepy high school student to an assassin to a vampire.
Eleeza Awaz is a monopitch (A3) VCCV English voicebank (using Cz's reclist), with a British accent. She has a bit of a soft voice and tends to sound better when singing lower.
I actually haven't finished her oto yet. I've been using her in this kind of half-oto'd state and just adjusting the oto whenever something doesn't sound right.
To test her voice, I got her to sing some of my original songs:
Here's some of my drawings of her; I tried to draw a box-art in KEI's Vocaloid 2 style, but I want to eventually make a box-art in my own art style.
