Is it possible to merge voicebanks?

Heeey guys. How goes it? Please don't eat me for asking this question, but I was curious:
Let's say I have 2 acts of my UTAU's voicebank, right? One of them is CV, the other, VCV.
Is it at all possible to merge these two voicebanks to form one, OTO.ini and all? Or am I nuts?
My apologies in advance if this is a stupid question.

you can put the voicebanks in a folder inside the main folder.

So I suggest putting your VCV bank inside a folder inside the CV bank.

but why do you need to merge them? you can alias sounds to be CV
like your VCV "- ka" can be aliased as a CV "ka" sound.

I'm with Jeremy on this. You just duplicate the beginning sounds (- ka, - ga, etc.) and alias them without the '- ' and they'll work as cv. It's best to keep pure cv banks separate from vcv, esp. if you plan on distributing them. Combined banks can be a lot to download for some people if they have shoddy internet connection or limited bandwidth and some utau users (like myself) prefer to use cv anyway and don't like to download a lot of files when they're only using a small portion of the whole.

Mhm. See, I'm actually having another UTAU user oto my (work in progress) VCV vb for me, as I'm horrible at oto'ing, so honestly, I have no idea how to alias part of a VCV sound to work as CV. My hope is that she'll have this feature included, however, if she doesn't, that's why I'd want to merge this new vb with my old CV one.
Oddly enough, my old vb isn't even really CV. It's Pseudo VCV, which I understand little about. I had KirrinX oto it. But it works with CV.

I see. I can imagine that it'd be pretty annoying for users downloading it via online. This is sort of a Plan B. Like I told Jeremy, I'm having someone else oto it, since I can never figure out otos, so at this point I'm really just hoping she'll include the CV compatibility. Thanks for the instructions, by the way. When the oto's finished, this could prove very useful.
