Is it possible to remove background music/instrumentals from songs?

So, I'm trying to make an UTAU of China from Hetalia and I'm using his character song for voice samples. Though, I can't seem to figure out how to remove the instrumental from the voice. I know how to remove vocals. but it keeps the instrumental only, which is the opposite of what I want.
Can anybody help?

If you have the EXACT instrumental version of that song, you can line that up with the original song perfectly, then invert it.

If the instrumental isn't exact, it won't remove the music, but if it's close it'll at least make it quieter.

Then, browse your files and find the instrumental
When it's done, click download vocals
Thats it
