Is Yamine Renri's mic any good?

It's a Behringer C-1U USB Studio Condenser Mic.
Is it better than a Samson C01U PRO USB Mic?
I need to pick between the two (I have a coconise and want to upgrade)

I think it's no contest-Renri's mic is better imo. Juni's samples sounded really muffled as if he was far from the mic (which might've been the case.) Can I have PIERO's samples to make sure?

Eyyy Juni’s VA here and yeah I was far away from some recording. c01u wasn’t very friendly to record powerful or really sharp/bright samples. Worked great for warm/soft vocals. Which banks did you check? AXIS was a Blue Snowball mic, and BELT, bright_a were an AT2020+. 75% of those Juni banks are c01u however some are from 13 years ago up until 8 years ago.
I would recommend checking my UTAU Ramu Toumitsu’s Overproof CVVC. Overproof was my last c01u recorded bank and it was proper set up, distance, sensitivity, and recording environment so you’d get a more true understanding of the mic. This was the most recent version of Ramu’s Overproof CVVC

Otherwise Juni’s aren’t suggestible as an example for that mic because of a variety of reasons. I personally didn’t like the c01u but it served its purpose. Currently have an AT2020+ and love it

Yeah, I’ll second Audio Technica, but if you go that route it’s cheaper in the long run to buy their XLR mics.

Agreed AT2020+ can be a little more difficult to get the right environment set up and are more expensive. However their XLR are a really good place to start in use and price. Best of luck
