(!Mac issue!) Openutau keeps old oto.ini???

(EVERYTHING HERE IS DONE ON MAC)

so I opened my utau in openutau and tested what a power append would sound like with a BASE OTO in it. I clear the cache in openutau and close it, and finish the oto for the power append. I go back into openutau and it renders vocals with the BASE oto.ini???? w h a t. so I restarted, nothing changed. reinstalled openutau, nothing changed. the folder with my utau is just on my desktop and the path in openutau is set to my desktop, the power append has the suffix "P" to every oto line, and I use ut through the "subbanks"/"voice color" feature in openutau if that means anything.

this issue is fixed. for some reason my iMac saved the power oto.ini into the g#3 folder, and left the base power oto in the power folder. openutau read the base oto in the power folder, because the subbank is for that folder. both otos in the g#3 folder and the power folder has the same suffix, "P". I have a backup of all the otos so heh
