Mawarine Shuu Voicebank usage help

Hi, I'm very new to utau and I wanted to cover a song using shuu, but I am confused since when I tried to use each of his two banks in the folder (cvvc and edge vb), they both sound metallic. I also tried using just one of the file folders that say "D4" to see if that will work, but there's only silence.

The UST that I'm using for the cover is VCV. So can someone assist me as to which voicebank I should use out of these files in the folder I should use? Thanks!

If the UST is VCV, and the voicebank you're using is CVVC, then it may need to be a CVVC UST...however I don't use CVVC voicebanks often, so they could work with VCV USTs.
What resampler are you using? Some make certain voicebanks sound very metallic. You said you're new to UTAU, but you may wanna research on different flags to make him sound differently, so here's a list of flags you can reference. If you don't know how to use them, hit project < project property and type in the flags you want to use with the value in the box that says "Rendering options".
Second, you UTAU shouldn't be on the desktop. Move all of your UTAU related folders (you can make a desktop shortcut to the application if you want) to Windows (C: ) < Program files (x86). Desktop UTAU folders is cursed.
Third, why isn't Shuu in the voice folder with Uta? Put him there and it should 'activate' the other pitches.

Hm, idk I don't use Shuu often, but I usually use moresampler. It's got a lot of flags and is generally a good resampler. Fresamp is also good too!
