OpenUtau keeps crashing

I'm new to OpenUtau, and I've been using OpenUtau for about a week. But, whenever I double click a track, it crashes. The log files doesn't work. Does anyone know why it happens? It's been doing this for 5 or 13 days already, and I've cleared my cache, and etc, but the log files doesn't work. It shows nothing. Please help me fix this issue, because I've been trying to fix this crash for the last few days.

I'm only partially familiar with Linux and I use it on Windows but best I could guess if it isn't showing logs is you may need to try running it with sudo in terminal. Essentially like running an application as admin on windows. See if that changes anything for you. If not that maybe do a clean reinstall. Hope you get it figured out

How do I run it with sudo in the terminal? I only know how to install it from the terminal, if you know how.

Sorry to ask something potentially obvious, but did you extract the file from the zip before attempting to run it?

There's a fairly in depth guide with examples on Wikihow for doing it. Then you should be able to just run sudo before the application name once you're in the correct directory. Only reason I think it might help is because I saw someone else had a similar issue. But they were on windows and ran as Admin which fixed it.

Do not run ANY application with sudo on Linux as you may break configs in your system i.e. If there is a bug in the application, there could be potential corruption with your system files and break your system completely.

I forgot to mention, I used a DELL Chromebook 3180 to install it there. If you ask me how I got OpenUtau on my chromebook,
This is the link.
If you guys know how to fix it, please tell me... :bigtears:
Edit : Yes, it worked normally before the crashing issue happened.
