Please Help! Orange line issues...

Hello! Ok so I'm making an Utau for a school project that's due in about four or five weeks and well...she sounds like a dying machine...

She has an English CVVC voicebank and all of the CVs are fine but the VCs sound completely off-pitch. I think this might be because I otoed the sounds a really weird way (all of the sounds are separate rather than in strings I'm not sure if that's the wrong way to do it?) and the orange line only made it about half-way through each sound so the second half of each sound (where the orange line doesn't reach) is really off pitch when I play it. Since the off-pitch bit is at the end of each sound I can just cut it off for the CVs but not for the VCs...

Am I doing something wrong? I don't really want to rerecord everything because I don't really have enough time to restart my project if I want to hand it in on time. Any suggestions?

(Sorry I'm not very good at explaining things so if you need me to clarify anything just ask)

Also I use UTAU-Synth not UTAU and it's in Japanese if that makes a difference about anything whatsoever?

Thank you!!!!!!

This is a resource on editing FRQ files, or the data that gets displayed as an orange line in the OTO editor.
http://utaforum.net/resources/frq-file-editing-guide.8/

However, it only applies to Windows UTAU, since UTAU-Synth currently has no way to edit FRQs (that I know of).
You can install Windows UTAU with Wine and edit the FRQs there.
