Resolved Problems with confirmation emails

One of my friends has been trying to create an account here since yesterday. However, she's hasn't recieved any confirmation emails in none of the two accounts she used. She first tried with a hotmail account and then with a gmail one. She's checked both of her spam folders, yet nothing.

Are the confirmation emails just that slow? Any help?

There might have been a case where, for whatever reason, the accounts were "awaiting approval" by an admin. A couple of accounts were recently approved, so please tell us if the situation has resolved now or not.

Thanks for your answer. Still nothing; no confirmation message on none of both accounts.

I guess we are going to have to wait, huh....
