I'm not saying names publicly because that goes agents my policy. However, if you found my new Tumblr then it's kind of obvious who this is about, being that this is where everything happened.

I posted a tread requesting somebody to voice a character of mine for UTAU, and a "long-story-short" bio about him so people would know what they are dealing with. After that, I post a link to that thread on my Tumblr so I can advertize it a little better. SOMEBODY reblogs and says something extremely disrespectful.

just use a real Japanese bank and abandon your stupid concepts

You want to know about the bio? My character is, basically, an evolved human who is 1011 years old, taking place in the year 3000, however, he looks twenty five.

Of all the things somebody were to get mad about, it's the bio? The bio is the most important thing about an UTAU. It's what makes a good original song, for Pete's sake! I don't care what anybody says, I love the story that I've come up with and I absolutely refuse to change it just because somebody doesn't like it.
stupid concepts like “HE’S 1011 AND HE LIVES IN 3000 AND HE LOOKS 25 AND HERE’S HIS BLAND ASS ART”

have nothing to do with UTAU

nothing at all.

Things like that just seriously boils my blood, but honestly, only encourages me. Saying things like is stupid and highly disrespectful, nobody deserves to be talked to that way.

Wow. That isn't right. D:

I understand where you're coming from. All of my UTAU are previously existing characters. Hell, I have a fully evolved story about them that involves four countries at war. If that isn't a heck of a bio, I don't know what is.

But some people just see UTAU as singing robots. Who cares if they're 8 or 88, if they like asparagus or hate cats...it shouldn't matter, right?

I just can't think like that. No matter what, they're characters. You have the right to develop them as much as you want.

Plus, there are plenty of 'real Japanese banks' with intense bios. Hell, Teto's a friggin' CHIMERA.

OH GOD I THINK I LOVE YOU. My UTAU now, and the one I'm trying to get a voicer for are both part of the same story. Not only those two characters, but so many other characters of mine who I don't plan on making voicebanks for are part of the same story. They are like the Neru and Haku of my story-- accept I won't pitch any voices for them.

And, the 'singing robot' is another thing. It's too.. overdone. My current UTAU is fully human, and the soon to be UTAU is an Evolved human for crying out loud.

It's not just UTAU with intense bio, either. Gakupo is my favorite singer EVER, not just my favorite Vocaloid. Gakupo is a purple singing samurai who uses dancing as a way of life. Say what you want, but that only makes sense if you watch anime or read manga. Even after all that, he's still amazing.

You basically summed up all my thoughts on this matter.
