So my friend recorded a voicebank but for some reason some of the entries in OpenUTAU look like this even though the oto entries look normal. I've tried installing the voicebank on my computer as well, and I also have the same problem.
Looks like you may have selected the wrong text encoding. You can select the text encoding during install or through the settings gear in the singer window.
