The character and voice of Thoma is largely a personification of the creator. His personality is mainly up to the user but he can be described as shy and naive.

Thoma's appearance is that of a slim, adolescent male with wavy/curly black hair, pale skin and dark red eyes. Attire can vary but he primarily wears a yellow undershirt with a purple cardigan along with navy shorts, white socks and black dress shoes. Alternatively, he also wears a vintage-style black t-shirt with a rounded white collar.
