Trouble installing VB’s for VOCALOID 4

Hi so I recently bought a v4 editor serial code off a guy and the activation is confirmed to work. However everytime I try to open the editor I get a message saying
“One or more VOCALOID components are not authorized! Please activate VOCALOID.”
(I installed a v4 editor from Internet archive which was not a pirated version of it)
I have several physical and digital voicebanks that are activated along with the editor and nothing I do seems to work.

I did notice that in my PC control panel it says that the vocaloids have zero size/aren’t taking up any space on my pc. I think that this is the root issue as it seems the voicebanks aren’t installing properly. I’m not sure why this is happening as I’m installing them like I did before I had to reset my PC a few days ago (hitting setup and default folder location).

VOCALOID 2 VB’s is working (I just can’t switch singers in the track for some reason) and VOCALOID 3 tiny is working with my v3 VOCALOID VB so it’s not like their fully just not there but also


If anyone knows why this is happening that would be great!

That’s also the issue. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled (deactivating and reactivating of course) all of my physical and digital VBs and the editor several times now and restarting my PC every time I do so. I’ve deleted all traces of any other VOCALOID program besides V4 and I still see that the VBs have 0 file size on my program list/can’t open V4.

I’m considering resetting my PC again and see if that fixes it (I had to reset my oc a day ago anyways so I won’t lose much) and see if that does anything

download them from the site you got them on if they are digital. The files could be corrupted, however.

Still didn't work with the installers in the doc I'm gonna reset my PC and see if that does anything

I tried it on all whole new laptop using the installers from the spreadsheet for both an v4 physical and download VB and it’s still not working lol. I might try contacting Yamaha at this point to see if they can help since I have no clue what could be happening. I have a physical v3 editor coming in through the mail so I’ll see if the problem persists with the v3 editor as well. Thank you for the help though
