Um... Hi there?

Hi there!

So... My name is Myko, I'm 14, I'm a girl (but please PLEASE refer to me as a boy), I'm French (cocorico), and I'm a freshly new UTAU user.

So to be honest I knew UTAU for a while, and I absolutely love it. Buuut I didn't really used the software, mainly because my voicebanks aren't finished yet (damn oto's ; and I'm a real crap at mixing. Seriously it sounds... like a ball of sheep- oh wait a second.

Talking about my voicebanks, I'm working on four voicebanks, all males (because my voice is too manly and I sound really ridiculous with my high-pitched voice :'D). The only things that lacks are oto's. And I looked at many tutorials, but I understand nothing, haha. :')

Otherwise, I like drawing, mainly my OCs.

And I love sheeps. Sheeps are f****ing fabulous.

And if I say "LINDEN!", it's normal. Or not. Haha.

Welcome to the Utaforums, although I'm pretty new myself, xD

By the way, the fact that you can work on four voicebanks is pretty awesome. I only have one voicebank (half-finished, just need to adjust all the OTOs and solve some problems and such.), since I don't like the way I sound when I change my voice. xD

I hope you'll be able to finish your oto's though. c: They're kinda hard at times. My UTAU has a crapload of sounds/syllables that I already made the OTO's for that still sounds kinda weird.

Oh, btw. A little bit advice: Have you tried using other resamplers? I found out the other day that using different resamplers really makes a big difference, and some resamplers can make your UTAU sound smoother, kinda.

Anyway, I only wanted to write "Welcome. c:" and it ended up being this long reply. xD

Yeah it's a lot of work. They all have a design, but I have recorded only one voicebank, since my father has a lot of work (he's meant to voice my second UTAU :'DD), I lost my mic and I messed up with my first one. Good job. And well I didn't even begun my oto's-/bitchslappedwithasalmon/

I've tried fresamp a while ago, and even though the rendering is very long, it sounds pretty good! I need to try some others, like TIPS or some-others-I-forgot-their-names. o/

You can make your dad voice one of them? :o That's awesome. xD I don't think my parents would do it, even if they got paid, xD

And yeah, fresamp really works well with most UTAUs. It smoothens out most songs out so well, especially after you've crossfaded everything.

Well he's always busy, but he said yes. I just need to find that mother-father mic. Computer mics just sounds awful, and unnatural at all. :')

Yeah, that's true. xD I had to replace most of the syllables in my voicebank cause' I found another mic in my house, and it did make a huge difference, and for once it didn't sound like my UTAU was mumbling. So yeah, that mic is really important.
