Hey everyone, MinnaUta-P proposed a project recently that we produce
an UTAUloid that the entire utaforum community has a part in creating,
through a sequence of polls leaving the most important decisions up to
the people of these forums.
However, MinnaUta-P has recently announced a hiatus, therefore leaving the
project up to the rest of the group.
We are going to continue the project ourselves by Minna's permission,
so the thread has been moved for easier management.
What we have decided so far is that the UTAU will have three dif languages, of which will be Japanese, English, and Chinese.
The voice will also have an androgynous sounding voice, however that will just be the type of voice, the official gender will be decided later on by participants in a design contest to design the UTAU.
We are currently holding polls for who will be the Voice Provider; You can listen to the seperate samples and vote for you favorite on the polls page of the website, here.
We have a team of people working on the project already, but we're always open to new members to assist in any way they can.
(Also if you are interested in doing the official concept art, that will be decided with a contest with...You guessed it! Polls!)
That being said, we hope you still follow our progress even after MinnaUta-P going on Hiatus, and don't forget to participate!
