So... I wanna make some Appends for my UTAUs, but I don't exactly know how to record the sounds.
Do I just talk/record in a different tone or voice?

It all depends on which Append you want to make, Let's say you want a growl append (Bad example) xD Then you record a voicebank with samples that still sounds like your UTAU but in a Growl tone, same for any other Append =)
