Vocaloid 2 Trial issues

Hello,
So last week I decided to download the Nekomura Iroha (Iroha, Ihora, IDK) off of AH Software's website, and I downloaded Miki's trial a week later. While I had no problem downloading/installing Miki, something went weird in the editor.
So I imported a vsq from a ust, and went through the preferences and change the voice to Miki. Problem is, it still sounds like Nekomura. Did I do something wrong, is there some thing that doesn't allow me to use multiple trials in the editor, or am I just sound blind (I made a thing :3) to the different voicebanks?

You said "going through the preferences". You don't change the singer in the preferences, you scroll all the way to the left and there should be a little drop-down in the bottom corner.

Or perhaps it just didn't register that you clicked on miki?
