So, I have this thing where I want to release voicebanks in pairs, and I have nothing to go with English CVVC ;A; any ideas? I can pronounce Spanish and German fairly well but I'd prefer if the reclist wasn't massive otl
I'd also be willing to learn Korean pronunciation, but I want it to be a language that is fairly common (in terms of usage, etc). Please help ;A;

I want to see another Korean bank, personally. There's plenty of Korean pop songs that get covered by Japanese banks. I can't listen to them more than once cause I hear all the pronunciation differences (and now SeeU's VSQx files aren't entirely useless if you make them VSQ, have the Korean patch, and can convert from hangul to romaja). As far as commonality, all of the ones you listed are pretty rare. I think you should record the bank you'll actually use more than once beyond the demo.

I might just screw English in the end because it's such a hard language to actually do in utau. Is there a good Korean CVVC Reclist anywhere? o3o
I'm not sure if I should do Spanish or what instead of English though, any suggestions?

I'd suggest you try Portuguese as a fourth language, but it may be harder than it seems. It's similar enough to Spanish to give a sense of security, but throws enough curveballs to make someone with no experience with the language rather frustrated at it.

I'd say go for Spanish...

After, you could eventually try Italian (though there aren't as much songs having an UST sadly >.<"' ) Or Chinese, but same, a few phonems can drive you crazy.... However there are some Chinese songs out there having USTs (West Moon River, Superstar, Zui Xuan Min Zu Feng, etc..)

Prince Syo's reclist is the defacto for Korean CVVC. As of 2012, it's based on SeeU's phonetic capabilities (Korean and some hidden English phonemes). Here's my version of said list. It's meant to be done in strings, but Syo has the unstrung version which includes some phonemes that I omitted (I simply couldn't pronounce them and they're not used often enough to justify including them). The txt file is Syo's.

I don't know if either Malay or Indonesian language can be suitable as another additional language for the UTAU software because I remembered when one of a Malaysian UTAU user on dA, has tried to develop Malay CVVC VBs for her respective UTAUs, Azharu Tia and Fia but from what I've heard on her journal, these voicebanks have several oto.ini and phoneme issues. She keeps trying to develop them, though.

Based on what I know about the phonetics of the language it shouldn't be too difficult. It can probably be "engrish"d with a Japanese CVVC since the vowels are simple. I've used Ritsu for Tagalog once.

I'd go with spanish. It's pretty simple and commonly used and u can force english out of it more easily than with Japanese (if you decide not to do English). Korean's good too but its better to go with languages you're more familiar with imo
