CV VV is just a CV UTAU with extra VCV vowels, so just six extra strings of VCV i\f you're doing 7-mora. It's a bit better than plain CV because now the vowels can transition a million times better, and it's a very easy upgrade since it's only six strings.

Umm I'll just answer what I think you asked with an explanation.

Unfortunately, there is no plugin that turns CV > CV VV or VCV > CV VV. It just doesn't exist (I wish it did). You have to go through the UST manually.

What I do is that I alias my VCV strings in both hiragana and romaji VCV (since it's only six strings). So if the UST is romaji, "ke ko i no ya i ba" would become "ke ko [o i] no ya [a i] ba", and in hiragana USTs just the same. You go through the USTs and double click to tack on that extra vowel to make it VCV on every vowel note. it's tiresome but worth it

Actually, if you use hiragana aliases, on a hiragana UST the VCV plugin will convert the vowels (and only those) to VVs. At least, the one I use does! So if you have hiragana aliases, it should do both VCV > CV VV AND CV > CV VV. If your plugin doesn't do this, I can link to mine,

In romaji, of course, you'll have to do it by hand. There's a short cut that brings up all similar named files in a list, which I find faster than typing it out. It used to be the V key before the UTAU4 update, but now I can't remember what key it is off the top of my head... I'll edit it into this post once I get home.

wait wait wait what
link to this plugin immediately
My VCV plugin just, of course, makes the whole thing VCV. I didn't know there was one that only worked on vowels *super stoked*

The one I'm referring to works to convert to Lite VCV, partially aliased VCV, CV VV... Essentially, if you have the alias for something VCV-ish, it'll convert it...?

It's from waaaaaay back, but this should be it. I always assumed it was the one everyone used? Possibly a bad assumption to make, actually, if the others don't do the same stuff.

Oh, I guess it's based on oto alias then - the one I have just makes a Hiragana CV UST into VCV no matter the bank selected. Awesome!

Ruben - you just oto and alias them like regular VCV.
