why does my utau sounds louder in between?

i am tuning anna nyui. i tried VCV-ing her voice and it sounds nicer, but it somtimes becomes slightly louder when it comes to a vowel i put before the character. i hear this in a lot of covers but i do not like it. any way to fix this?

Make sure to crossfade the notes. You can do this by pressing either the P2P3 or the P1P4 buttons in the upper right.
