My utau's pretty new, and she's not very clear either and I really want to improve her, but I don't really want to spend a whole lot on doing that, so I was wondering if anyone knows of some good microphones or headsets I could re-record with, I'd be really grateful! I'm looking for something around £30 or less.

Her beta voice (I know her pronunciation is awful, I'm going to completely redo it)

I'll make cover art for anyone with suggestions, I'm looking for drawing practice!

A decent mic is all you need. If you can get your hands on one of the logitech Dynamic Mics they work just fine (THE ONES THAT LOOK LIKE KARAOKE MICS PLEASE GOD NOT THE STICK ONES THEY SNAP).

But if you're looking for a pretty good one, the Audio Technica ATR2500-USB is only $50 US at the moment.

That's condenser and absolutely lovely. More than a beginner needs, really, but if you sing or do voiceovers or anything really something to consider!

If you just need something cheap but not logitech cheap, well...

This is also alright. Be careful though; it's cheap for a reason. The cord is a tad fragile, and once you mess around with it too much a sort of electronic buzzing starts to show up in your recordings. Mine DID last for over a year though, and even after the cord bugged out it was usable for UTAU as it didn't really pick it up... Still, if you have the money, go for the condenser.
