I'm thinking of that from a looooooooooooooooooooooot! Since I'm on smule (sing! karaoke application, mainly unfortunately to meet ARab musicians...), there are also lots of smutaite (me also), and I'll curiious to see what can this idea sound. Since we're kinda a community of UTAU voicers (we're?), lots of you know (not as Beyoncé, I guess ahah <3), sing, so I'm thinking: why don't we create a smule Group for a cover? Only an idea, because I know some don't feel confident with singing etc. I'm on smule, maybe not only because of singing for fun, but also to know people who play Arabic instruments (Japanese not? Yeah, there are no koto players... or shamisen, or whatever wagakki)... but I also sing Japanese stuff... so yeah, whatever suggestion?

This has almost nothing to do with UTAU. Many of us rely on synthesized vocals as a replacement for human ability. I'm sure that youtaites and CB participants tend to gather on other websites.

Moved to the Music subforum under Arts & Entertainment as this is not vocal synth-related.

Can you clarify something?
1) What are CB?
2) I can't move the thread, unfortunately

The thread has already been moved for you.

CB stands for Chorus Battle, events in which groups compete by making vocal covers of songs according to themes. Typically those groups consist of singers, artists, mixers, and animators. I usually hear about them from people on Twitter, though I've never participated myself.

I myself am participating in an Iraqi-based musician/singers group on smule (not utaite, it's somehing like Kadim Alsaher... nothing Japanese) and also I'm a member of Aoipegasus (Japanese covers Group), all on smule, but I don't want to use twitter and don't have the right people to ask for... wondering if some else except Kiyoteru can link some things
