How do I use Yokune Ruko (Male Strong)

I recently wanted to do a cover of しかばね の おどり (Dance of corpses by Kikuo) and I wanted to try out a new voice bank. I chose Ruko, installed the bank, and got an error when I opened the bank in UTAU. The UST I'm using is in hiragana but half of the sounds don't play. How do I fix this? (I'm unsure whether the UST is CV of VCV (the readme that came with the file did not specify) and I don't know how to check.

Thanks for reading,

Mori

Can you take a screenshot of the whole UTAU window so we can see the UST?

You can check the type of ust by how the notes look, a vcv ust looks like this:
[- ko] [o n] [n ni] [i chi] [i wa]

You can safely ignore the error message from the first post.

The UST lyrics appear to be written in hiragana CV. To manually convert it to VCV, edit each note to borrow the vowel from the previous note. For example
[し][か][ば][ね][お][ん][ど]
[- し][i か][a ば][a ね][e お][o ん][n ど]

To do this automatically, you can use a plugin like iroiro, which has CV to VCV conversion.

Thanks for letting me know! Iroiro worked really well!
