Sounds to record question

Yue Koromo (挙母越)

Teto's Territory
Hey everyone!
So yesterday, I printed off a list of sounds to record from this source http://sta.sh/0urbyvp0nio
I noticed that this is...well a lot...more than what a basic bank would contain.
My questions are...

Are these sounds for a VCV bank?
Should I trust this source?
Do you have any recomendations on what sounds to record for a beginner (other than the original kana alphabet)?

EDIT: I am using Audacity to record, but may end up getting OREMO.

This is indeed a CV reclist, however, you're much better off simply downloading a text file, hehe;;!
It's more important if you're using OREMO, because the way it works is by loading up the recording list (or reclist) and automatically saving each recording with that file name.
Here's the CV list that comes with it, but converted to romaji (which will be easier to read).

For a basic Japanese voicebank, you only need to go up to "pyo".

I wish you luck with your first voicebank!
Once you've finished recording, you'll definitely have to configure the bank in UTAU (make the oto) so that all the timing is correct.
Hop on over to this thread for help! (And definitely check out my new Esperanto Extras deal~)
