Utau japanese hiragana isn't showing up

The japanese isn't showing and when I put the Japanese in it just shows up as whats on screen.

It seems like you may have changed your non-unicode language settings after installing UTAU instead of before. Assuming that you still have the correct system settings, try uninstalling and reinstalling UTAU completely. You can double check your steps against this guide.
